Cranio Sacral Therapy Course 1

This basic course in CranioSacral Therapy works with you in four intensive days a treatment plan that is based on the cranial work of Dr. William Garner Sutherland and Dr. John Upledger.
This pathway, called the 10-point protocol is designed for the treatment of adults and young patients. The teaching consists of three main areas: detailed description of the anatomical and pghysiology in clear terms, demonstrations and practical exercises to master the techniques under supervision.
You learn to take the CranioSacral rhythm true and to feel. You will learn Evaluation and treatment for restrictions in the body.
We use energetic techniques from applied quantum physics, oriental medicine and Qi Gong to improve your skills in the subtle exam and evaluation ot the patient.
The treatment and relaxation of the diaphragms, which affect the pool, breathing, digestion and swallowing when restrictions are learned and implemented. We will explore and examine mobility and / or restrictions in the tissues of the body. The study and treatment of occiput, dural tube and sacral dysfunction accounts for a major part of this section.
You will learn the models of Upledger (“pressure regulator model”) and Sutherland (“Primary Respiratory Rhythm”) that explain the CranioSacral system to know.
You will learn the V-spread technique for specific inflamed areas of the body and know the Still Point technology, which is applied at the beginning and end of each Cranial treatment and supports the harmonious relaxation of the whole body.
Other topics include Sutherland’s theories of Cranial suture movement, new strategies for intracranial membranes and their effect on the fluid system and bone. You will learn techniques for the frontal and parietal bones, the sphenoid and temporal bones that.
The temporomandibular joint dysfunction and its treatment is the focus of this lesson section. We offer a presentation of the scientist Dr. Ernest Retzlaff Michigan State University microscopical photos of the actual anatomy in the sutures of the skull. Dr. Royster presents a demonstration and summary of all the learned techniques show and encourage you to incorporate this 10-point protocol in your treatment practice. You will be at the end of the four days will be able, a 20-30 minute  CranioSacral therapy treatment for your patient.
